[He won't be expecting it, which is a big part of what Georgia's counting on. Catching people off balance is a good way to get answers before their brains catch up enough to build a convincing lie.]

Your Mirror. I talked to him. He thinks very highly of you. I was wondering what you thought of him.

[You know, if you asked him what the least likely reason as to why Georgia called this meeting, Mettaton would hazard to guess that it was because she finally needed to admit how utterly handsome and amazing he is. That should tell you how far down the expectation ladder her knowing about his mirror is.

It's such a surprise that Mettaton can't hide the temporary shock on his face, the slight step back he takes as he observes her intensely.]

...I'm assuming you talked to him during the little switcheroo the Queen forced on us, yes?

[What did his mirror say? Why didn't he warn him? He must have thought she wasn't a threat. He can't believe he is thinking this, but his mirror is an utter fool.]

[She nods, but doesn't say anything else, staring at him patiently from behind her sunglasses. She doesn't have to repeat the question, does she?]

[She waits rather patiently for an answer and after a moment of sizing her up he lets out a small huff.]

Why would my opinion of him be of any import here? The mirrors are strange and do as they wish and they don't matter much in day to day life.

[A blatant lie coming from a robot who regularly talks to his "reflection".]

The import is that I'm asking. [She tilts her head.] Why are you dodging the question?

[He shakes his head a bit, sighs, and dodges another question while answering the first.]

My opinion of him is that he's certainly entertaining in his own right. And quite clever. Usually.

[But certainly not in this situation he thinks to himself, just holding back a scowl.]

[A whole lot more complementary than she'd ever be to her mirror even so.]

Yes, usually. But he has a terrible tendency to not watch what he is doing when it comes to other people and it gets him into trouble.

[This conversation needs to end as soon as possible.]

[This conversation has to go on as long as she can drag it. She has so many questions.]

Do you care that he's getting into trouble?

[He has to be careful in how he answers this. Georgia is clearly fishing for information and he can't show his hand.]

It's hard to not be curious about someone who shares your face.

[Curious. Not worried when he disappears for periods of time due to whatever happens on the other side of the mirrors.]

Dodging the question again, huh? [Better than outright lying, she supposes, but not especially subtle.] A suspicious person might start thinking you've got something to hide.

[He groans, shaking his head.]

Georgia, please. Did he really piss you off so much that you thought you had to interrogate me about his delusions?

[He's not the best at dodging in the world but he is immensely curious as to what Georgia wants out of this discussion.]

[She doesn't respond, just tilts her head and stares at him through her sunglasses, raising her eyebrows. She's patient.]

[He groans, aggravated, but decides to concede a little ground.]

I do care a little bit that he gets into trouble, yes. He's got the same exact face as me, after all, and the last time he had free reign on this side of the mirror he endeavored to assassinate my reputation. So he's a bit of a liability to my good name.

[Every good lie has a kernel of truth to it and while Mettaton may not actually have this worry now, he did almost a year ago when Mirrorton went on his little rampage and nearly killed a little girl to make a statement.]
