[Sans's eyesockets widen. Back in his own room, he gets to his feet and goes to his mirror, peering into the glass. There isn't even a smudge left from Mirrorton's writing. Sans wonders if maybe he should have recorded the whole thing, but why would that have occurred to him at the time? He had no idea that this ran so deep--and he's pretty sure he's just barely scratching the surface.]
[He presses a finger to the glass for a moment and frowns, having a really terrible idea.]
the way you say that makes it, uh...sure makes it sound like you have actually been talking to him.
[And how often? And it would have to be with a mirror, obviously, which means Mettaton is...lying. He's lying about how he keeps his mirror regularly smashed.]

[He considers his own mirror again. Maybe it's hypocritical, the fact that here he is with his own intact mirror, worried about Mettaton having an intact mirror. But that's just--an effort thing, really. No point in keeping the mirror smashed if there's no one on the other side who's bothering you.]
[He starts looking around for a pen.]
and i mean, yeah? he said you're "his." it's kinda like he thinks he is you. at least, uh, that's what i could glean. like i said, he's crazy. a lot of what he said probably only made sense to him.
[He finds a sharpie and stands in front of his mirror, fiddling with the cap a little. Stupid idea. Really stupid idea when he's this concerned about Mettaton talking to his own Mirror. He doesn't trust Mirrors as far as he can throw them, least of all his own. So why is he doing this?]
[Why does he feel like something really bad is happening?]
metta--listen. the kinda stuff he said to me is stuff i'm pretty used to hearing, yanno? not caring makes it real easy to also not care about anything anyone says about you.

[He makes a decision and writes we should talk. where are you? on the mirror in Wingdings. That should get his Mirror's attention.]
but you know how frisk is. they...they take things that people say about them and tuck it in real deep. like...shrapnel, or something. and alphys is the same way. not sure about napsta, but you know them better than i do. chara's sturdier about that kinda thing. but the other three? pretty sure they'd be fazed by that sorta thing. frisk especially isn't too good at just ignoring things.

point is...it's not me i'm worried about. it's them. and you. cause this is, uh. i mean, it sounds like something weird's going on. it sounds like you're really downplaying what he's doing. just...i dunno. this just kinda...isn't like you.
